ARSENAL, Wenger: "Van Persie could remain"

As reported by the Corriere dello Sport, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has declared about 28 year old striker Robin Van Persie: "He will remain with us, there are no reasons why a player like him should move to Italy. In England they pay better and the Premier League is at a higher level than the Serie A. There are no more champions there, and the few that have remained are all leaving".
