Nicola Leali has completed a switch to Juventus after an agreement was reached with Brescia for the goalkeeper’s permanent transfer.

The 19-year-old has put pen to paper on a five-year deal which expires on 30 June 2017.

“It’s a dream come true,” said Leali. “Joining such a prestigious club at my age is extremely gratifying and a great motivation to keep developing further. Being part of the same club as a champion like Gigi Buffon is hugely satisfying, but it also makes me realise how much I’ll have to work for the opportunity to repay the trust placed in me.”

Leali’s signing represents a further addition to the club’s promising pool of talent. After rising through the Rondinelle youth ranks, he made his Serie A debut against Cesena on 15 May 2011. His sharp reflexes and good positioning immediately caught the eye, prompting 16 further appearances over the course of the club’s Serie B campaign.
