ITALY/ LAZIO, Attempt for Berbatov

After having been near to join Paris Saint-Germain and getting back to Bayer Leverkusen and Tottenham, Bulgarian international striker Dimitar Berbatov (31), according to latest rumours, has been approached by Lazio, despite his very high annual fee. The player is currently on a deal with Manchester United until June 2013.
