Interviewed by SpazioMilan.it, Iñaki Ibáñez, agent of Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso, has declared: "There is nothing true about the rumours concerning a possible transfer to AC Milan. He has two more years on his contract with Real, and he plays in the best league of the world, why should he leave? The Italian and Spanish medias tell many things, but the truth is that he won't move from Madrid".
