Matias Silvestre spoke to Inter Channel as he stepped off the pitch following this evening's friendly win against Como: "It was an enjoyable game and just what we needed to get minutes into our legs - it was a good training exercise. We have a strong squad and we're going to battle for Serie A and the Europa League. We're ready to give 100%."

Probed about his fitness, the Argentine defender explained: "I had to sit out for a four or five days and I missed a few training sessions. I'm ok now and I'm trying get fit again."
