Filippo Inzaghi has been speaking to Milan Channel following his appointment as a coach in the club's youth sector. He said: "I cannot wait to get started. I want to transmit all my desire and passion to the young players I coach. When you have had passion in your work for many years it is easier to get certain things across to the youngsters.

Superpippo continued: "The Allievi are an important team because it is there that the players have that jump in quality. The objective is to get some of the lads into the first team. With this contract I can stay working on the pitch. I am starting from scratch and doing so in a very humble way because what I did as a player does not count anymore even if it will remain in my heart."
