Matt Lund has signed a new loan deal with Bristol Rovers.

The midfielder has been back training with the club since the start of pre season, but has now put pen to paper to spend the next six months with the club.

Matt said: "I am looking forward to getting started, I missed the place and I am pleased to be back.

"I spoke to the manager and Northy, and I really wanted to come back and play, and hopefully we can keep the run of form we had towards the end of last season."

Matt was on loan with Rovers for three months last season, when he made nine starts and four substitute appearances.

Having made his debut in the 2-1 home win against Morecambe in February 2012, he scored his first goals for the club in the final game of his loan spell, netting twice in the 5-1 victory over Accrington Stanley on 28th April.

Highly rated, both by Stoke and Rovers boss Mark McGhee, the Northern Ireland
U-21 international will be hoping to establish a regular place in the starting lineup during his second spell with us.

Matt will take the number 7 shirt.
