ITALY/ INTER, Livaja: "I don't know if they'll loan me out"

 He was born, grew up and came through the youth ranks right here in Split. Marko Livaja spoke to Inter Channel about making his competitive debut for Inter in his hometown - a match which began for him when he came off the bench and was greeted by whistles. "I can understand the fans, I left Hajduk and so they whistled at me. I expected it. But I'm happy because it was my first game for Inter and because we won.

"They're a young side who do a lot of running," Livaja said of the opposition. "They are very careful and in two or three years' time they could develop into a great team. I might be able to play a bit more in the return leg but the main thing for me is just being on the pitch. I'm concentrating on working hard."

"Had I ever seen the Poljud turf as bad as that? It used to be worse.

"I expect to stay here at Inter in August. I don't know if they'll loan me out but it might be a good solution for me to get some more playing time because I'm still young. We'll see."
