During the current last press conference held, José Urrutia, chairman of Athletic Bilbao, talked about Spanish international striker Fernando Llorente's (27) forthcoming future: "Fernando doesn't want to extend his own deal with us. The clubs willing to sign him will have to pay the releasing clause set on him, since we don't want to let him leave". Llorente's agreement with Euscadian club will expire in June 2013; the player is tracked by Juventus, Manchester City, Tottenham and Manchester United.
