Conor Henderson has joined League One side Coventry City on loan for three months.

The 21-year-old midfielder made his breakthrough into Arsenal’s first team with an FA Cup appearance against Leyton Orient in the 2010/11 season, impressing in his display for Arsène Wenger’s side in the fifth-round replay at Emirates Stadium.

Conor has bounced back from an eight-month spell on the sidelines after suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury during a pre-season friendly match against FC Koln in July 2011.

Signing professional terms with Arsenal in January 2009, Conor now joins Coventry City and their newly-appointed manager Mark Robins in order to gain valuable experience in his career progression.

Conor will stay at the Ricoh Arena with Coventry until December 22, but will not be eligible to play against Arsenal in Wednesday night’s Capital One Cup Third Round match at Emirates Stadium.

We wish Conor the best of luck during his time with Coventry City.
