ASTON VILLA calls ex Premier League boss for managerial role

Aston Villa contacted ex Premier League boss for their vacant managerial role: after sacking Roberto Di Matteo a couple of days ago, the Villans started talks with ex Hull City, Wigan and Sunderland boss Steve Bruce.

The fans, anyway, wouldn't be really pleased to have in charge of their team a man that managed their city rivals, Birmingham City, for six years, from 2001 to 2007.
