EXCLUSIVE TMW - OGC NICE chairman confirms interest for SIRIGU. PSG approve winter transfer

Not playing as a stable regular at FC Seville, in spite of initial expectations, Italian international Salvatore Sirigu (29), still owned by Paris Saint-Germain, might move to OGC Nice in January. Despite Côte d'Azur side being one of Ligue 1 title direct rivals (some very unexpected ones, by the way, holding the league first ranking position at the time, 3 points over AS Monaco and PSG themselves, and paying them the "French Leicester" nickname, Reporter's Note), PSG, according to latest rumours collected through TMW sources of ours, gave their approval on Sirigu's transfer to Nice, in order to have him play with a continuity, and be able to cash more money when selling him next summer. On his turn, OGC Nice chairman, Jean-Pierre Rivère, told TMW: "We haven't had a proper talk so far, neither with PSG nor with Sirigu's entourage, but we defeinitely like him".
