Went from riches to rags in few years, passing from playing Champions League as a Bayer Leverkusen regular to be a surplus for Hertha Berlin, German midfielder Jens Hegeler (turning 29 next January 22) might be leaving Bundesliga side in January, and joining St. Pauli, according to Kicker. Otherwise, the player will leave Hertha after the end of current season, as a free agent.
