Roma and AC Milan are interested in signing Sunderland striker Fabio Borini in the January transfer window, according to Sky sources. Sky in Italy say Roma have made contact with Sunderland about signing the Italian - who left the Serie A giants in 2012 to join Liverpool - on loan. Roma acknowledge however that with the Black Cats battling against relegation, their chances of signing Borini are slim.
