Sunderland are braced to lose goalkeeper Jordan Pickford for at least six weeks after initial scans on his knee injury.

The England U21 international, arguably Sunderland's outstanding player this season, injured his right knee in a challenge with his own defender Papy Djilibodji and Zlatan Ibrahimovic during Boxing Day's 3-1 defeat at Manchester United.
