Former Italian winger/forward Alessio Cerci (29), still potentially capable of getting back to international football, is leaving Atletico Madrid after a very unfruitul experience. After his arrival to Colchoneros, dating back to September 2014, was left out from the team plans after just half a season by Diego Simeone, collecting then a disappointing 2015 playing for AC Milan, followed by a slightly better 2016 first months experience at Genoa. After having unexpectedly stayed put for current season first half, former Torino and Fiorentina player is now ready to join Serie A back, and is now in deep talks with Bologna to this end. Italian club want a non-mandatory buy-back clause loan, while Spanish giants would like to get rid of Cerci once and for all.
