FIORENTINA - Gonzalo RODRIGUEZ giving the club a hard time on new contract

In talks with Fiorentina management and top brass for a long time, Argentinian centre-back and Viola captain Gonzalo Rodriguez (32), according to latest Italian news, hasn't turned down the club latest offer, consisting in a deal extension from June 2017 to 2018, including a further season option, and an annual salary lower than the current 1 million euros one. At the time, the thing most likely to happen is for former Villarreal footballer, playing for Serie A side since 2012/13 and equipped with a second Spanish passport, to end current season at Fiorentina and then move as a free agent.
