GRIEZMANN HAPPY AT ATLETICO

Antoine Griezmann insists he is happy at Atletico Madrid in an angry response to questions over his future.

The Independent claim Manchester United are monitoring the France international’s situation at the Vicente Calderon.

However, in a feisty exchanged with journalists, Griezmann underlined his desire to repay Atleti for their role his rise to the summit of world football.

"I'm very happy at Atletico, I'm very proud to play for these fans, with these players and with this coach," he told AS. "I want to try and pay back the confidence and care that the people at Atletico have always shown me."

When pressed on the mounting speculation linking him with a move away from Atleti, Griezmann went on the defensive.

"I don't like this question, don't hit me with these questions about my future because for players like Ronaldo, Messi or Bale nobody asks them what is going to happen next year or where they are going to play, he added.

"That's why I don't like it when they ask me, either. I'm happy and enjoying myself at Atletico, don't ask me about my future anymore."
