OFFICIAL - Tianjin Quanjian announced having signed WITSEL from Zenit

After a very long negotiation with Juventus, which ultimately failed, Belgian international midfielder Axel Witsel, leaving Zenit Saint Petersbourg after 4 seasons and a half, decided to join Tianjin Quanjian, on undisclosed terms. Trained by Italian football legend Fabio Cannavaro, Chinese Super League club offered former Benfica star, turning 28 next January 12, an about 18 million euros annual salary.
