After having cashed 20 million euros from Tianjin Quanjian, for Axel Witsel's trade to Chinese club, Zenit Saint Petersbourg, according to A Bola, are about to sign Greek international midfielder Andreas Samaris (27) from Benfica, in order to replace Belgian star. Playing for Portuguese giants since 2014/15, former Olympiakos man is currently on a deal with them until June 2019, and, as usual for Primeira Liga top clubs, an expensive exit clause (amounting to 45 million euros, in this case) is set on him.
