Drawn to leave Napoli after half a season, and following a very disappointing experience so far, made of no playing time, Italian centre-back Lorenzo Tonelli (turning 27 next January 17) has been heavily linked to both Fiorentina and Torino, for a winter window trade. Asked about prospects regarding him by CalcioNapoli24.it, his father, Pietro Tonelli, stated: "Lorenzo is eager to show how much he's worth at Napoli, without having to leave, and that he's up to the challenge of playing for such a prestigious club. If it were just his decision, he definitely wouldn't leave". Former Empoli player is currently on a deal with Azzurri until June 2020.
