STOKE CITY, Afellay: "My future? I don't know anything about it"

Asked by UK media about his future, during the latest press conference he attended, Dutch international winger Ibrahim Afellay (30), playing for Stoke City since 2015/16 and on a deal with Potters just until next June, stated: "There are no news at the moment. For this kind of question, you have to ask my agent. I only focus on my work on the pitch, and I work very hard, every day. That's the only answer I can give at the moment. It's a nice club, of course, but for the time being I can say nothing. I am focused on the job on the pitch. The rest is not for me". Former Barcelona FC, Olympiakos, and PSV player might indeed leave as a free agent after current season ends.
