Arsene Wenger has reiterated Arsenal’s position on Alexis Sanchez, insisting the Gunners will not welcome any offers for the Chile international.

"We are not open to any offers, in any way,” Wenger said in his press conference ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League opener against Leicester on Friday.

Wenger, who confirmed Sanchez would miss the Foxes encounter with an abdominal strain, revealed there had been no contact from Paris Saint-Germain over Sanchez.

“Reading the papers, they seem to be going for Mbappe,” he added.
