"For the first time we offered the player to Torino FC around the middle of August, but the Italian club in those moment wasn't agree with the deal'd details. Then arrived Crystal Palace which were ready to pay the full worth. In the end but they didn't reach an agreement, so we offered again the player to Torino FC with different conditions. They were interested and we reached an agreement: Barça was agree but we knew Torino FC were also trading Niang and the player was the preferred option by the coach. The official agreement with Barça arrived too late (at 5 P.m. of the last market day and Torino had already signed Niang. The trade for Munir was about €1m loan with right of ransom in the end".
