Sunderland manager Simon Grayson says he hopes the Football League will follow the Premier League's example and close the transfer window before the season starts.

Grayson also said that the club's three Deadline Day signings - Marc Wilson, Callum McManaman and Jonny Williams - could all be involved against Sheffield United in the Championship this weekend.

And overall, the Black Cats boss said he was "pleased with his transfer window".
