According to latest UK news, Arsenal management have just submitted German international attacking midfielder Mesut Özil (28) a rich new contract offer, including a 14 million pounds annual salary. Playing for Gunners since 2013/14, and still on a deal with them just until June 2018 so far, former Real Madrid star seems so far inclined to turn it down, hoping in bids from other clubs (possibly a return of Barcelona FC on his tracks). If not succeeding in talking him into it, London side might even make him available for sale in January, on a 65 million euros entrance fee.
