RB LEIPZIG, Rangnick: "Back in 2015, we could have signed MBAPPE"

Talking to Sport Bild, RB Leipzig director of football, Ralf Rangnick, disclosed a backstage event linking PSG star forward Kylian Mbappé to Bundesliga club: "While we were in talks with AS Monaco on Mbappé, Alexander Zorninger leaving as manager put the negotiations in jeopardy. The player's father told us we could have signed him immediately, if I had become the new trainer. But back then I couldn't make him such promise".
