Lionel Messi refused to be drawn on his future at Barcelona, as uncertainty continues to hang over his career at the Camp Nou. Barca insist there is no chance Messi will leave the club on a free next summer, despite the five-time Ballon d’Or winner yet to put pen to paper on a new contract at the club.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen in the coming years or how I’m going to feel,” Messi said. “I live from day to day. I am not focused on the future.”
