The press room at the Jiangsu Suning Training Center which hosted Luciano Spalletti, Mauro Icardi and co for their press conferences in July welcomed the Inter Forever delegation to China before they play the Chinese All Star Legends Team tomorrow at the Olympic Sport Center. Led by ‘Spillo’ Altobelli, Recoba, Baresi, Toldo, Zanetti and Crespo spoke about the match and discussed how it feels to be back wearing the Nerazzurri shirt.

"It’s always important to return to China because we have loads of fans here," said the Vice President Javier Zanetti. "It’s nice to go onto the pitch with lots of old friends and teammates. Inter Forever is a project that this club really cares about."

It will be a ‘new debut’ for two greats from Inter history; Hernan Crespo and Alvaro Recoba who were highly sought-after by fans at the airport upon arrival. "It will be a great feeling tomorrow, to wear the Inter shirt eight years since the last time. It’s a great pleasure and I thank Inter Forever for the invite and the ownership for allowing me to be here," said the Valdanito before the Chino spoke. "It’s a pleasure for me that they called," said Recoba. "I always follow events at Inter from Uruguay and so it will be a great pleasure to wear this shirt again tomorrow, there will be some emotions."

Giusppe Baresi is a veteran by now as he continues his long service with Inter. "I’ve followed various generations of Inter players, from Bedin and Oriali to Zanetti. Today, there’s a young player who arrived recently and I hope he can stay for a long time and achieve a lot of satisfaction and that’s Gagliardini. He’s a great worker who can still improve a lot and I hope he can do it with Inter." On present players, Hernan Crespo spoke about Mauro Icardi after a comparison was made. "What suggestion would I have for Mauro? To carry on like this. He’s developed a lot in the past years and we’re very happy, he absolutely needs to keep working as he is doing and he’ll achieve a lot."

Finally, Project Director Francesco Toldo and Coach Alessandro Altobelli had their say. "We have a good team, we’re ready to have fun and entertain the crowd. It’s normal that when you play, you play to win whatever the age. Who wears this shirt always does so with sportsmanship and respect, we need to be an example for everyone as Inter always has been."
