Interviewed by La Gazzetta dello Sport, former Inter Milan, Porto, and Colombian NT midfielder Fredy Guarín, playing for Shanghai Shenhua since January 2016, stated: "I've got two more years on my deal with Shanghai Shenhua, and I'm totally fine here. But, Inter Milan, listen to me, bring me back home to you. Money don't matter, I'd even join back on one fifth of my current wage. I talked about it to Ausilio last season, but we didn't agree on financial terms". Guarín, earning at the time a 10 million euros annual salary from Chinese Super League side, has been playing for Neroazzurri four years long, starting in February 2012.
