Interviewed by Daily Telegraph, the day before CL match against Spurs, Juventus and Bosnian NT star deep-lying/attacking midfielder Miralem Pjanic (27) stated: "Both Arsenal and Tottenham asked for me a lot, in the past, but I never started transfer talks with any of them. We are hungry, ready to fight, and we want to go all the way and win Champions League, this season. My trade from AS Roma to Juventus? I remember that, when I penned my deal with Bianconeri, Mister Allegri told me I had the potential to become one of the best playmakers around. I still have to improve to that end, but I'm determined to accomplish such level". Turning 28 next April 2, Pjanic, a powerhouse for Juventus after some initial turmoils, is currently on a deal with Serie A reigning champions until June 2021.
