According to Italian paper Corriere della Sera, Alessandro Costacurta, 90's defensive A-list for both AC Milan and Italy, and recently named FIGC (Italian football federation) sub-commissioner, is about to meet Zenit manager Roberto Mancini, in order to discuss with contemporary football icon of his, and A-list manager, the chance to seal the deal for him to become Azzurri head coach. Meanwhile, former U21 trainer, Luigi Di Biagio, is acting as a caretaker, after Giampiero Ventura's epochal failure.
