Attending his first press conference as a Paris Saint-Germain player, former Juventus and Italian NT glorious goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon (40) stated: "PSG wanting me in was a surprise. The club showed up in May, while I was already planning my future elsewhere, though I was hoping something like that would happen. I felt I still had a lot to give to football, and so it is. Winning Champions League is of course a target we want to achieve, but we must not make it become an obsession. That would be crazy, and we are not crazy here at PSG. First things first, I'm here for improving, both as a football player and a man. Blaise Matuidi, who became a close friend of mine, though playing together only one season long, told me I'd fit in very well here".
