Interviewed by Sky Sport Italia, 27-year old full-back Davide Santon, who joined AS Roma last summer, from Inter Milan, stated: "It's been three awesome months here, so far. Although fans weren't that thrilled when I joined in, I knew from the start I was landing to Rome for a rebirth. Maybe they were right for thinking so, I gave an overall bad performance last season, I'm aware of that. I thank Monchi, whom I already got in touch with when he was in Sevilla, Di Francesco, the club, and my teammates, for having had trusted me so far. I think I managed to give the best of me in latest city derby. That's the only way to win such games".
