As reported by TyC Sports, Rodolfo D'Onofrio, River Plate chairman, asked about the future of 25-year old Argentinian Gonzalo "El Pity" Martinez, while attending a conference at Buenos Aires Unversity Med School, stated: "I'd rather chain him to a chair, than letting him leave". Mostly linked to an Italian move, with Fiorentina, Lazio and Napoli interested in him, the player is currently on a deal with Millonarios until June 2020, and a 18 million euros exit clause is set on him.
