Asked about French 22-year old forward Anthony Martial eventually winning his spurs at Manchester United, Red Devils boss, José Mourinho, stated: "I never gave up on him. And I never stopped being honest with my feelings towards what he was doing. And I knew he had to overcome some hindrances I put out for him, in order to become a real top player. Now it's his turn, Anthony is incredibly talented. Anyway, big time skills don't necessarily make alone for a top player". Playing for Old Trafford side since 2015/16, Martial is now in talks with the club on a deal extension beyond June 2019.
