Interviewed by Sportbuzzer, Vissel Kobe star and former German international forward Lukas Podolski (33), addressed with an FC Köln move back, stated: "I've already been abroad six, seven years long, and I miss family and friends. You really get to apprieciate that kind of things when you get a bit older. Joining FC Köln back? That's no news. I do want to wear their jersey again, and the club leaders know that. But they need to rise back to Bundesliga first. Anyway, I'm not offering myself anywhere to. I'm on a deal with Kobe until December 2019, and I'm playing J-League season right now. Then, if any club, either from Bundesliga or not, shows up, it's definitely something I'm goona look into".
