Interviewed by RMC Sport, and asked about the troubles affecting Mario Balotelli's performances, OGC Nice chairman, Jean-Pierre Riviere, stated: "Mario didn't run through summer training, and that's why he hasn't been able to perform at his best, so far. He's been a bit tense, and quite unlucky, but he certainly didn't lose his skills and talents. Extending next June? I don't think so. I think he'd rather be leaving us when the deal's over". Playing for French club since September 2016, the 28-year old Italian international striker, who set a very high scoring rate bar throughout past two seasons, might be even put up for sale in January. Former AC Milan and Liverpool hitman was heavily linked to Bologna and Sampdoria, last summer.
