NEWCASTLE have been coy on talk of signing Miguel Almiron

Miguel Almiron's father has claimed Newcastle are in prime position to sign the 24-year-old Paraguay midfielder from Atlanta United in the January transfer window, according to Newcastle Chronicle. Ruben Almiron, speaking to the media in South America, said: "He will definitely go to England, what’s left to be decided is to what club but Newcastle is the one with the advantage."
