NAPOLI backup midfielder ROG close to Schalke landing

According to Il Mattino, Napoli leaders decided Croatian midfielder Marko Rog (23) is leaving after Serie A next game, the away one against Lazio, scheduled for January 20, with Schalke 04 leading the race to sign the player as a loanee. While Eintracht Frankfurt are in a close contest with Gelsenkirchen side, Rog is also tracked by AS Monaco, Sevilla FC, Fiorentina, Parma, Genoa, and Cagliari.
