According to Italian football journalist Carlo Nesti, wise and competent Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri will use two systems this season : 4-4-2 and 4-3-3.

Nesti explains : "Given the fact that Juve have four great forwards (Del Piero, Amauri, Iaquinta and Trezeguet), at least three of them deserve to play often this season (without ignoring their respective tactical positioning and technical characteristics, of course). Than, in midfield, two defensive midfielders are necessary in both systems. Ranieri can pick anyone from Christian Poulsen, Mohammed Sissoko, Cristiano Zanetti and Albin Ekdal. Such defensive midfielders can tactically support creative attacking midfielders like Camoranesi and Nedved. In conclusion, with so many talented and versatile players and at least two system-related options, Juventus have plenty of quality".
