INTER, Moratti: "Certainly didn't help ourselves yesterday"

In the aftermath of Inter's defeat against Parma, president Massimo Moratti answered questions from journalists waiting outside the Saras offices.

Is it safe to say that after the 3-1 loss at the Stadio Tardini Inter's chances of finishing in third have gone up in smoke?
"In a season like this you never know. We certainly didn't help ourselves yesterday evening."

After having moved closer against Cesena was there more expected from the team? Were you disappointed in how the game went?
"The first half was played well, although a bit more determination could have finished off the game. Therefore, it can happen that you make a few errors, and we made many in both defence and attack. So that lack of determination in the first half was regrettable."

Do the assessments of the coach change after this defeat? And if so, how?
"I don't think it was the coach making the mistakes yesterday."

With what spirit will Inter face AC Milan in the derby on Sunday?
"The derby is a game in itself. Actually when you're not favoured... And we're not favourites, that's clear."

By winning against AC Milan do Inter risk doing a favour for Juventus?
"There's a favour to be done this year for one or the other."

But for which team is it better to do it?
"It's the same either way."
