Interviewed by The Sun, Chelsea new attacking midfielder Eden Hazard has declared: "Chelsea were very far off in the league and I was thinking they wouldn’t play in the Champions League next season. The two Manchester clubs were in advanced contact and I had spoken to the two coaches. Then Chelsea came in little by little and it’s true that, when they won it, I thought ‘Why not Chelsea?’ with a new project and great players".
