BORO have completed the signing of 20-year-old Birmingham University student Christian Burgess following successful trials at Rockliffe Park.

The promising centre-half has agreed a two-year contract after impressing for Boro's development squad late last season.
Christian played in a handful of development games after being spotted in universities football. The 6ft 4ins defender was born in Essex and spent four years in Arsenal's Academy before a short spell in the youth and reserves ranks with Conference South side Bishops Stortford.
