Paris Saint-Germain head coach Carlo Ancelotti has declared about the arrival of 27 year old defender Thiago Silva from AC Milan: "I am very happy that Thiago has joined us, he is a fantastic player. The whole world knows that he is one of the best on the planet. With Alex and the others -that I have not forgotten- we can have a really competitive defense. I know Thiago Silva very well as I have worked with him for six months at Milan, he can really improve the defensive qualities of the team. The club has done something great to sign such a champion".
