Gianpaolo Pozzo has attended the presentation of the project for the New Friuli Stadium: “We have been trying to build a new stadium for years, until the Mayor Honsell has broken the deadlocks. Our Mayor was able to combine the needs of the town with laws, so we have been able to find a combination that grants the concession of the stadium to Udinese for 99 years. We can invest money to make the stadium more modern and to bring more spectators on the terraces. Our players need to feel the affection of their rooters. Gradually, we have achieved a perfect operation, though not painless, but in the end, thanks to everybody’s cooperation, we have made it. I also thank the Sports Credit that has given an important contribution”.
