Young striker Jake Cassidy is to return to Tranmere on loan until January.

The 19-year-old frontman enjoyed a successful loan spell at Prenton Park at the end of last season, five goals in ten games helping Rovers move away from a possible relegation fight to finish up in a comfortable top half position.

Cassidy, a Wales Under-21 international, will now get the chance to further his match experience with Tranmere in the six month loan deal.

The striker has been with Wolves for two years, having joined from Airbus UK in August, 2010, and will join up with the Rovers squad on Friday.
