LIGUE 1 - Marseille: the frustration of Dimitri Payet after the match against Lazio

Another underwhelming performance by Olympique de Marseille. Opposed to Lazio on Thursday evening on the 4th matchday of the group stage of the Europa League, the Marseille club could not do better than a draw (2-2).

Present at the microphone of Canal + Sport after the meeting, Dimitri Payet shared his frustration: “I would say more frustration because we are having a fairly complete match tonight. Unfortunately, we paid dearly for the two mistakes we made and that's almost the only two chances they had. They were very realistic.”

Relaunched a few seconds later on the rest of the competition (OM are third with four clubs in Group E), the Olympian captain remained positive. “Of course we still believe in it. Unfortunately, we no longer have our fate in hand but here we have two games left and we will fight as we have done since the start of this competition, ” concluded the 34-year-old.
