The first sanctions following the incidents which arose after the match between Angers and Olympique de Marseille played on Thursday evening.

The Coubertin stand at the Raymond-Kopa stadium as well as the OM visitors' parking lot for its away matches have been closed as a precaution. It remains to be seen what will happen with the Marseillais' match against Lens this Sunday at the Stade Vélodrome (8:45 p.m.).

The Lensois advised their supporters not to make the trip because "following the latest discussions with the Prefecture of Bouches-du-Rhône, security conditions are not guaranteed", as revealed by AFP. As a reminder, incidents also took place during the Lens-Lille match.

However, Provence indicates the opposite this Friday. Indeed, according to a press release sent by the Prefecture of Police of Bouches-du-Rhône, a security device "will be deployed in the stadium, its surroundings and in the city center of Marseille so as to anticipate and avoid any disturbance of public order. "It will also be possible to supervise RC Lens supporters arriving by bus or minibus" in order to guarantee them safe access to the stadium," as reported by La Provence. Another question raised concerns the meeting against Galatasaray on September 30th. In 2012, there were fights during the match between OM and Fenerbahçe.
