Kevin De Bruyne has been ruled out of Manchester City's match against Everton on Saturday and next week's Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain, according to manager Pep Guardiola.

After earning a positive test during the last international break, City manager Pep Guardiola announced De Bruyne will be isolated for ten days.

City, who are three points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea, visit PSG in a key match on Wednesday after facing Everton in domestic action.

"Kevin got positive from Covid. He will be 10 days isolated," Guardiola said on Friday. "Two days ago, he told me that he was positive. He is here (in Manchester).

"Forget about the fitness, the momentum, he has to recover well. The human being is more important than anything else."
